Straight Away Courier Inc. Terms and conditions

  1. Unwrapped or Unlabeled Goods
    We are not responsible for any goods that are not properly wrapped, packaged, or labeled. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all items are securely packed and clearly marked before pickup or delivery.
  2. Deliveries Without Signature
    If a customer requests that a package or item be left without a signature—such as in a mailbox, at the front, side, or back door, or at any other designated location—Straight Away Courier Inc. assumes no liability for loss, theft, or damage of such items.
  3. Undocumented Damage or Loss
    Any damage or loss must be noted on the waybill at the time of delivery. If the receiver does not report damage or loss upon receipt, and signs the waybill, this signature will be considered proof of delivery in good condition. Straight Away Courier Inc. will not be responsible for any issues that are not documented at the time of delivery.
  4. Fragile or Unmarked Goods
    We are not liable for the breakage or damage of items that are not clearly labeled as fragile, glass, or marked with handling instructions such as “This Side Up.” It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that items requiring special handling, such as refrigerators or other delicate goods, are properly labeled.
  5. Delays Due to Unforeseen Circumstances
    Straight Away Courier Inc. will not be held responsible for delays in delivery caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to acts of God (natural disasters), strikes, road traffic accidents or disruptions, issues related to perishable goods, defects in goods, or delays caused by the shipper, owner, or legal authorities (e.g., customs verification).
